Communication is key

Communication is key
****★*****★*****★******★*****
A man is driving down a rural road and a woman is also driving on the same road but in the opposite direction. As they pass each other the man rolls down his window and shouts "DONKEY!"

Not to be outdone, the woman shouts back, "MONKEY!" And she feels good for retaliating. But as she bends the sharp corner ahead, she hits the donkey and rolls several times. As she drags herself out from the wreck, that's when she remembers what the man meant.

LESSON:- Women never really understand what men try to say to them. And men never really clarify what they mean to women.

Communication is vital in relationships. Keep on improving on it. If you haven't mastered it yet, don't give up, have fun and keep improving it!

Happiness and pain

Hi, friends he needs your advise…
This letter is written by a boy who doesn’t know what to do because he is afraid of losing the person he loves.
I’m only 19 but I’ve been confronted with many things in life. Last year my life was a complete mess. I lived day by day. Everything was dull; I had nobody beside me until I met her…
It was as if a phoenix was born inside of me. In the beginning I was acting indifferently but one evening I admitted my feelings to her. I expected her to laugh or to tell me that she likes me but I never thought that there could be anything more between us.
However, it happened…
We have already been together for 7 months and our relationship is going deeper.
Unfortunately there is a problem. She is married and has a child. This is not such a big obstacle. But I don’t want to become what separated my parents. I can’t make my heart stop loving her because she is my heart.
Every night I fall asleep with the thought of her, and I wake up with the same thought in the morning. I’m obsessed by her. I want her next to me at night but this is impossible.
We have discussed the idea of living together but this cannot happen at least until I serve my time as a soldier.
As to the age difference, I think this is of no importance. If there is something real between us age is not a problem at all.. Please, tell me what to do. Should I stay or should I go?
Thank you in advance.

JEALOUSY in relationship[TRUE LIFE STORY]

I became a laughing stock because I love him

God, I don’t even know how to start this story.
I met a man a year and a half ago, at the beginning I wasn’t very much impressed, but with time I started to have feelings for him and he did for me. We were living in the same neighbourhood and met very often, so he started hitting on me, inviting me on dates. At first I refused, but one day I decided to go out with him and our relationship continued. I fell in love with him and gradually found out that he is the man, the one of my dreams. He was very good to me, we went out every day, it was amazing. He even introduced me to his parents, but they didn’t like me, we could only say "Hi" and "Bye" with them. And only after 5 months things turned upside down.
He started being jealous of me; he didn’t allow me to meet my friends, nor his. He kept me away from everything and everyone. But I love him; God knows how much I love him, so I didn’t dare to oppose him. I agreed with everything, sat quiet and kept silent. And he did whatever he wanted.
One day an acquaintance of mine met me and told me everything about him. She told me he had a serious girlfriend for 6 years now and that for the last two years she had studied abroad, that’s why they were not together. She also said his girlfriend comes back to Bulgaria three times a year and they love each other very much. Everyone respected her and he was only having fun with me, until they get together again.
I didn’t believe her, but with time, I found out that it was true. It was very difficult, but I couldn’t make myself ask him about her. I was afraid of losing him, if I start asking too many questions about her. So I kept seeing him, hoping he would leave her because they see each other rarely and time separates couples. We went out a lot, please don’t misunderstand me, he means everything to me and I love him. Even if I had to keep silent about them talking on the phone every day, texting each other, I couldn't stand it but I kept silent while he thought I didn’t suspect she existed and treated me as if nothing had changed. One whole year he kept repeating he loves me and that I mean everything to him. I secretly hoped that he will forget her, after all I am here, and she is away.
Our relationship became deeper and I thought he feels stronger about me and he will gradually forget her. Until one day he simply told me we can’t be together anymore, because he had a girlfriend he loved a lot and he is leaving and going to live with her.
I thought he’s kidding, but no, in a week he left and was nowhere to be found. Can you imagine how I felt; I loved him so much, I simply don’t know how I am going to live without him. He means everything to me. But he made fun of me, and not only he, his parents and friends, too. Now I got it all, he didn’t love me, he just used me for fun, he was never jealous of me, he only pretended to be in order to keep everyone away, because they all liked her and no one could stand me.
Now I understand all his lies, he would tell me he has some work to do in another town and would be gone for two-three weeks. No, he simply was with her, not for work, they went on holiday, the two of them while she was in Bulgaria. So he kept lying to me, the whole time. How could I have been so blind? Now they are together, they live together and even consider getting married.
I went crying to his parents to ask about him but they throw me away and told me to forget him. They told me she is the woman for their son. His friends also rejected me. I was alone, I even lost all my friends because of him. I lost everything.
I know he is not with her for her money, he's got enough, even too much, you could say. He used to pamper himself and spend on useless things. She was simply his big love, the girl of his life. They love each other a lot. Ok, but then what was I, we were together for a year and a half, for Christ’s sake, I gave him everything. When people tried to talk to me I wouldn't believe them. My friends told me to leave him, told me he is lying to me and he is not right for me, but I love him and couldn’t imagine losing him. I kept dating him with the secret hope that one day he will be mine.
I am all alone now; I became a laughing stock for everyone. I love him and I can’t forget him but he doesn’t care, as if I never existed. Dear all, I love him, I can’t forget him, my heart will burst of pain.
I hope you understand my story, maybe it sounds a bit confusing. I can only share it with you, because there is no one else for me to share with.

TRUE LIFE STORY[LOVE]

I think I am going to die...

Hello,
I want to tell you what happened to me and how this story turned my life upside down, and I am not the same person any more......
It was during last year’s summer. I used to live in a small town near the capital, I studied and lived there. I had a steady boyfriend for almost 2 years; we loved and respected each other. He studied in the same university I did. We would see each other every day, take a walk together, we took pleasure in the love that filled us, we were more than happy, but…as you know all good things come to an end.
Problems started when after my last annual exam I decided to go to the seaside with my friends from the town where my parents live. My boyfriend didn’t come cause he didn’t have the opportunity ( he had work in the town). So one morning my friends and I left for the seaside. We arrived somewhere around 1 am at night. We went to the hotel to check in, took a quick shower and went to bed, cause we were all dead tired. On the next morning we went to the beach. The first thing I noticed was the most amazing man I have ever seen, a handsome man sitting alone on the beach, obviously waiting for someone. I told my friends to go and I will catch them later.
I approached him and with some cheek I sat on the sand next to him, I looked at him and smiled. He immediately gave me his hand as if he had been waiting for this all day long. So we introduced each other and chatted for over an hour, he told me a lot about himself, and I basically told him everything. And suddenly, when we both paused talking and as if we were enjoying one another, he said that obviously the friend he was waiting for, won’t be coming. He invited me for a coffee and I accepted, of course. I was so happy and pleased with him, it was a long time since I had so much fun. He was treating me ( someone he didn’t know) so well, making me laugh, I felt so good….I didn’t want this moment to end. So we went for a coffee and we chatted for almost 2 hours. He told me how much he loved the sea, and I supported him fully in this. We liked each other so much, we felt we’ve know each other forever.
When I was leaving for the seaside, despite my good mood, I thought I would not stop thinking of “my man” and would not have good time, but while I was with Mario ( that was the name of the boy I met at the beach) I did not think of Steve ( my friend in the town) not even once. I was so happy and enjoying the moment.......
After that I started going out with Mario, and not with my friends, day after day. Days would pass and I kept feeling amazing………. but then the day I had to leave came. I felt terrible. Mario was from other city and the distance was so huge…I think I loved him.. He also felt bad that we I had to leave, but that’s life. We promised to write and to see each other next summer.
I left for my home town, and he remained at the sea, we were so far from each other.........
After a long and boring trip I came back home and when I arrived my parents called me to see if I was all right. After that Steve called, my God, I had totally forgotten about him, but fate reminded me where I was....
A couple of hours after I arrived I met Steve and you know what……my heart beat faster. SO my “previous love” for him burst out again after 20 days absence??? We spent 2 hours together and he kept asking how I spent at the seaside and I was forced to think of something, I wasn’t ready to tell him the truth. After all I was cheating on him the whole time...
Everything was back to normal, but I wasn’t the same. In my thoughts he was “ my prince Mario”. God, you should hear my heart beating when I think of him, my heart was filled with love.
A couple of days later Steve and I went to my parents’ place. We thought of spending some time with them. One day as I was sitting and having lunch with Steve and my parents, I felt sick. My mother said she would come with me to the doctor. I was told I was pregnant. My God, I stood shocked, we had sex the previous night with Steve, but it was not possible that I got pregnant. I was certain, the child was Mario’s. How would I tell my parents, they would certainly drive me away, they loved Steve so much. So I kept it all to myself and everybody was happy. I was most happy cause I would give birth to a child from my loved one. ..
In the meantime I kept receiving letters from Mario almost every week and was so happy. One day in one of my letters I shared that I was pregnant from him; I thought he would be happy and that he would want to see me, but alas….......after this letter he stopped writing and I never got an answer from him.
I was tempted to look for him, to find out what he was doing and thinking, but I realized he left the address he was living on.
Now, months after this, I am pregnant, married to Steve and unhappy. Where is the love of my life? So his I- love-you’s were all lies? Maybe I am to blame, cause I cheated on the man who loved me and was truthful to me? What is wrong with me? Why do I keep loving the one from the sea who hurt me so much?
I live with my parents with Steve now, he loves me dearly and I pretend. I don’t know how much I would stand this.
My parents want to buy us a house, for me, my husband and the innocent baby that is going to be born.
How do I live with this lie? The child will remind me of my big, seaside love…….and it is not guilty, it has the right to live, and I would need to keep living with Steve and pretend I am happy…What if in the meantime I die of sadness for my beloved one???

8 types of women you should never date

It certainly feels like male-bashing season. Every other day there’s a new blog post, or article, or snide tweet admonishing women not to date this type of guy or why that type of guy is wrong for them. The way these women carry on, one would think all men were either a cold or calculating sociopath who only wants to jump into bed with every woman; or beer guzzling, unambitious zombies, devoted only to watching football.
But you see, that is not the case. Women happen to have more baggage than men and men have the gift of spotting baggage-carriers from afar off, as well as the skill to avoid them.

Well, most men… If you’re one of the hapless souls who do not, here are the 8 types of women that no young Nigerian man should date. At all.
1. The Barbie.
The only thing Barbie has, is her pretty face. Finish. She’s the type of woman that doesn’t know much about anything. Hell, she doesn’t care much about anything! As long as her pretty face is intact, the world can burn for all she cares.2. The Drama Queen.
Avoid this person like a plague, even as a friend. She has no qualms about creating a scene over a perceived sin. She would bawl her eyes out loudly in public if she feels you don’t love her; or love her enough. She cries, she’s passionate and yes, she looooves the attention.3. The Possessive/Obsessive Clinger.
Similar to Miss DQ above, but she doesn’t have the need to cause drama; she has a need for YOU. At all times. She calls thrice an hour. Her first question always is ‘Where are you?’ If you don’t pick up because you’re getting chewed up by your boss, expect the multi-page accusatory text messages to start flooding in. She gets upset when you have the barest interaction with another woman. She wants to be the only presence in your life. Before she goes the way of Cameron Diaz’s character in ‘Vanilla Sky’, quickly give her the boot. 4. The Wife.
She is not interested in dating. She doesn’t want a boyfriend: she wants a husband. She wants to marry. Now! One date and she’s ready to meet your parents. Two weeks on and she has chosen the names of the children you will have together. Nobody said women were logical creatures but then, life – as well as love – is in stages. I’m not sure I like you yet and you’re already choosing aso ebi… slow down madam.
5. The Party Animal.
There’s nothing wrong with letting your hair down and having fun occasionally. When it now becomes a way of life, nne, we have a problem. Sometimes one needs to chill and enjoy the other person’s company. Not this lady. She knows all the happening places in Lagos. And Abuja. And London. Her friends are going. And she must be there too. The party animal will be bored with you in no time.6. The Cheat.
Seriously, do I need to explain this? There is no way in the world to have a meaningful relationship with someone who’s cheating on her boyfriend with you. Even if she gets out of that relationship and starts a new one with you, you know that she has no qualms about infidelity. She’s going to cheat on you too. Period.7. Nairabody.
“I ain’t saying she’s a gold digger, but she aint messing with no broke n…” This is the type of woman who craves the finer things in life and expects a man to provide them. She’s with you only for the money. She might actually ‘like’ you, but if you can’t buy her things and generally assume responsibility as her personal cash dispenser, forget it; you can’t get five minutes of her time. She’s a pro at using sex as a tool: you get it when you pay. The moment she finds a more affluent man (that is if she doesn’t have a bunch of you suckers around her pinky already), she’s going to kick your broke behind to the curb. Expecting a steady stable relationship from Nairabody is futile. There are better ways to waste time and money.8. Your neighbour’s teenage daughter.
Forget how she looks in a tank top. There’s a law against that type of thing.
